Shisan: The sushi experience that brings Japan to our plate

So, we didn't miss the opportunity to "travel" once again to Japan from the heart of Athens. So, we found ourselves at Shisan in The Mall Athens, and the menu offered as many choices as we had enthusiasm to explore them.

Unexpected choices

It took us a while to decide which dishes from Shisan would fill our table. However, we couldn't resist the Caramelized Tempura Shrimps, with caramelized fried shrimp with spicy mayo sauce, lime, and chives, as well as the Beef Chop Suey, which is egg noodles with flank beef, baby corn, carrots, ginger, celery, bok choy, oyster sauce, and soy sauce, which completely satisfied our taste buds. 

Obviously, our delicious sushi experience would not be complete without Chicken Satay, which is fried rice with egg, chicken thighs, garlic, ginger, cashews, red pepper, peanut butter, coconut milk, soy sauce, and lemon. And to finish off, a Beef Patty bao bun, with handmade beef patty, shiso leaves, kimchi, mayonnaise, cucumber, and tonkatsu, was just what we needed to complete our delicious journey.
