We had the coziest coffee break of the winter at Starbucks

Our love for the wintery and cozy atmosphere of February is a given. Just as obvious is our weakness for good coffee. So, at the first opportunity, we look for ways to combine the two, treating ourselves to the perfect winter coffee break for chit chat and sweet treats. And so, our path led us once again to the experts of the finest coffee, aka Starbucks at The Mall Athens.

Cold weather, warm atmosphere

Without wasting any time, we went up to the 3rd floor of The Mall Athens and headed to the ultimate place to be on days like these, when it's really cold. From the very first moment, we were welcomed by the warm atmosphere and the familiar smell of high-quality roasted coffee that can only be found at Starbucks. After all, with more than 50 years of experience in the field, this place knows how to turn a coffee break into a special experience. 

Macchiato mood on

It didn't take us long to decide what to order, as one glance at the menu was enough to make up our minds: On the one hand, our favorite Iced Caramel Macchiato, which we can never get enough of, and on the other, the new Iced Pistachio Macchiato, which we couldn't resist trying. Cool and with a pistachio aftertaste, this drink surprised us more than we expected. 

Of course, coffee without dessert is unthinkable, so our table was also laden with delicious treats. So, we chose a cinnamon roll that went perfectly with the rest of our flavors, and we shared a Cookie Sandwich, whose fluffy texture fully justified its title as a best seller. On the side, we had two Cake Pops, a Bear and a Polar Bear, which were not only cute but also very tasty. 

As expected, we didn't leave a single sip or bite at the end. And we left with the promise that our next coffee break would find us in the same place. At Starbucks in The Mall Athens, in other words.
