Taco Bell: The favorite Mexican spot brings tacos to The Mall Athens

Let's be honest, Mexican food has earned its place in our hearts. That's why we're always on the lookout for new spots that promise authentic flavors. So, when we heard that the world-favorite brand with the most iconic tacos had arrived in town, we couldn't stay away. We grabbed our bestie and rushed straight to try the new Taco Bell at The Mall Athens.

From California... to Athens

Without wasting any time, we went up to the 3rd floor of The Mall Athens and headed to the place everyone is talking about: A happy place for every ethnic food lover, or in other words, Taco Bell. The well-known street food spot that came straight from its birthplace, California, to teach us what viral Mexican food is all about. 

Authentic Mexican flavors

So, one glance was enough for us to agree on one thing: it was the right time to enjoy the full Taco Bell experience. What does that mean? That tacos and burritos couldn't be missing from our table. So, one of us chose the Crunchy Taco, the crispy and delicious Mexican food we love so much, accompanied of course by French fries, while the other chose the Volcano Burrito. Slightly spicy and absolutely filling, all we can say about the latter is that every bite confirmed why it has so many fans.  

Of course, because as we all know, sharing is caring, we also got a Nachos Bell Grande to share. In other words, the ultimate Mexican comfort food with generous layers of melted cheese on top that had us licking our fingers. On the side, our favorite soft drinks, and for dessert we chose—what else?—fluffy churros with sugar, cinnamon, and a dip with melted caramel. What could be more delicious than that?

As we left, we promised ourselves that this was only the beginning. Because if we learned anything from this first experience, it's that this is more than just a place to eat Mexican food. And we will return to Taco Bell at The Mall Athens again and again to enjoy authentic Mexican flavors.
