The tastiest start to the year was a brunch at Flocafé Espresso Room

To start the year off right, you need two things: good company and... good food. Since we happen to have the first, and we never miss an opportunity for the second, we decided to make the most delicious start to the year in our favorite, tasty way. That is, with brunch at a destination that never disappoints us. Its name is Flocafé Espresso Room at The Mall Athens.

The ultimate all-day spot

Without wasting any time, we headed to the third floor of The Mall Athens and found ourselves at our favorite hangout. Or, to put it another way, the perfect place to relax and catch up on the latest news, accompanied by unique sweet and savory flavors, from morning until night. In other words, at Flocafé Espresso Room, which this year became our most delicious start to the day. 

New year’s resolutions, new brunch choices

As soon as we saw the menu, we realized that choosing the dishes that would fill our table would be quite a difficult task. We thought about it carefully and settled on the Egg Power Bowl, since this time we were in the mood for something savory and filling. Delicious and colorful, we have to admit that we loved every bite. Our favorite highlight was every time the egg, spinach, and sweet potato "met" in one bite. As for our next choice, it was our favorite Shakshuka, accompanied by crispy bruschetta.

All this while each of us enjoyed the drink of our choice. Specifically, a Fresh Lemonade Spritz, which added a refreshing touch of prosecco to our table, and, of course, a hot drink that paired perfectly with the other flavors: White cinnamon caldo, with three types of cinnamon.

And so, our brunch came to an end, and we can say with certainty that 2026 began in the most delicious way possible. And with the Flocafé Espresso Room at The Mall Athens, we are sure that the rest of our year will be just as enjoyable.
