Mailo's the Pasta Project: where fresh pasta and street food culture become one!

Pasta is one of most people's favourite flavours, and not without reason, as it never fails to excite our taste! At Mailo's the Pasta Project, which combines gastronomy with the logic of street food, the concepts of fresh sauce and fresh pasta simply and concisely describe everything you will taste.

We went with my best friend and we can confirm that we had one of the most unforgettable gastronomic experiences. The "steps" we followed were specific: We went to Mailo's, on the third floor of The Mall Athens, and stood in front of the menu for a few minutes to decide what our signature red cups would contain. Rigatoni, campanelle or casarecce was the last question we asked each other before ordering, because, as self-confessed pasta lovers, we like to choose the type of pasta that ends up on our plate. And just like that, our order was ready before we had time to start our regular catch-up of the week.

We started with the Honey Mustard Chicken Salad, as the salad with chicken, cherry tomatoes, parmesan and the special honey mustard mayo sauce was a must on our table. Then, because one red pasta cup - or two - is never enough, we went for three of our favourites: Tomato and Basil with fresh tomato, basil and olive oil sauce; Pesto Genovese with basil, garlic oil, pine nuts and pecorino sauce; and Creamy Aglio Olio with garlic, chilli pepper, parmesan, parsley and cream. Which would you choose? We can't choose just one.
