If you've ever been to an Italian city, you've probably been fascinated by the authentic Italian cuisine. Thanks to La Pasteria restaurant, you don't have to travel to the neighbouring country to taste the endless Italian dishes that "promise" to fascinate your taste buds.
And because we know that the list of Italian dishes to try before planning our next trip to Italy is a long one, this November's 'menu' included a visit to our favourite restaurant, La Pasteria. There we tried the most authentic Italian salad Burrata con Pomodori e Basilico, with slices of fresh tomatoes and cherry tomatoes with burrata, rocket and basil, as well as the mixed bruschetta with marinated fresh tomatoes, basil and Parma ham or marinated fresh tomatoes and warm mozzarella to start our meal.
Before we had finished our starters, of which there were none left, two glasses of the finest white wine from La Pasteria's collection arrived at our table to accompany our main courses. And for those of you wondering what we ordered, get ready to be jealous. We opted for the Marinara pasta with prawns, mussels, squid and red sauce and the Pollo alla Griglia, a grilled chicken fillet with sautéed vegetables.
At La Pasteria Restaurant, Italian cuisine celebrates the originality of each dish, following the original recipes without making too many changes. Whichever dish you choose, you will undoubtedly taste the essence of true Italian cuisine, through traditional dishes of Italian gastronomy that, whether you like it or not, will take you on a mental journey to beautiful Italy.
